Libs push ICE to release illegal who delivered pizza to military base. He just got arrested for domestic abuse.

An illegal alien who was defended by celebrities and politicians was arrested on charges of domestic abuse against his wife.
Here’s what happened
Pablo Villavicencio-Calderon was the focus of national headlines after he delivered pizza to a U.S. military base on June 1 and was detained over his illegal immigration status.
Villavicencio, is married to a legal U.S. citizen and has two citizen children, was in the process of applying for citizenship when he was detained by immigration officials
After public demonstrations that included some politicians and celebrities on the left, a judge released Villavicencio, noting that he had been a model resident besides his illegal immigration status.
“Although he stayed in the United States unlawfully and is currently subject to a final order of removal, he has otherwise been a model citizen,” Judge Crotty wrote in July. “He has no criminal history. He has paid his taxes. And he has worked diligently to provide for his family.”
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called the arrest a “disgraceful affront” to New York values.
“ICE’s arrest of Pablo Villavicencio, while delivering pizza to a military base, was a disgraceful affront to our NY values,” he said in July.
Despite demands that he not be separated from his family, Villavicencio is accused of domestic violence against his wife.
Villavicencio allegedly pushed his wife against a wall during a dispute in their Hempstead home on Friday afternoon. Villavicencio also grabbed his wife’s cell phone in an apparent attempt to prevent her from calling 911, authorities said.
The Legal Aid Society was one of the organizations that lobbied for Villavicencio to be allowed to stay in the country illegally.
“The past several months, including Pablo’s detention and threats of imminent deportation, have been traumatic for the Villavicencio family. We are hopeful that this matter will be resolved,” the Legal Aid Society said in a statement after he was arrested.
