DIVERSITY! This Rich, All-White, All-Male Ticket For Democrats In 2020 Reportedly In The Works

The party obsessed with racial and gender diversity is ironically headed for a rich, all-white, cisgendered male ticket in 2020. Former Vice President Joe Biden is looking to tap Democrat darling and Congressman Robert "Beto" O'Rourke as his number two on a potential 2020 run, sources told the Associated Press.
Biden, 76, is looking at O'Rourke, 46, mainly to offset his old age, the report said. If Biden were to win in 2020, he'd be the oldest man ever elected to the presidency. Ronald Reagan was elected at 73, holding the current record.
The hypothetical ticket would have precisely zero intersectionality points — which are critical to the left. Biden and O'Rourke are both white, male, heterosexual, "cisgender" and wealthy.
Although O'Rourke has been accused of trying to pass himself off as Hispanic per his "Beto" nickname, the former Senate contender is of Irish decent. According to The New York Times, the political heavyweight's family "came over from Ireland four generations ago to work on the railroad."
As for the wealth aspect, O'Rourke, who married into money, is worth a stunning $9 million — that's double the net worth of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), for example. The Washington Times reports:
"O’Rourke had a 2015 net worth of about $9 million, ranking 51st out of 435 House members, according to the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics. That’s more-than double the $3.8 million worth of his Republican opponent, Sen. Ted Cruz, who ranked 41st of 100 senators. O’Rourke and his family live in a hilltop, Hacienda-style, 4,700 square-foot home in El Paso, while Cruz, his wife and daughters have a well-appointed condo in an elegant corner of Houston."
Biden, nearing a $1 million net worth, has some serious coin, too, though it's nothing compared to what O'Rourke married into. Biden took home a salary of $230,700 when he served the country as Vice President.
While the right rejects the notion that the color of your skin and your gender should have any bearing on your political status, on the Left, race and gender are openly obsessed over and used as political currency. In fact, the Left is becoming openly hostile to "white male" candidates.
Democrats routinely tell men (especially white men) to shut up about issues like abortion because of their gender. Anyone remember Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) getting booted from his own campaign rally stage because of the color of his white skin by two female Black Lives Matter activists? Just last week, a CNN analyst admitted that the political climate on the Left suggests it's not the time for Democrats to nominate a white man for the upcoming presidential election. "I am very suspect of that this year going into a Democratic primary with women doing well and the African-American face of the Democratic party, I am not sure it’s the time to nominate a white man," said CNN's Harry Enten.
Suffice to say, a hypothetical Biden/O'Rourke ticket seems to be antithetical to Democrats' ostensible "values."
Biden recently said he was "the most qualified person in the country to be president," and O'Rourke looks to be weighing into the presidential arena, though he initially refuted such reports. Other non-white and/or non-male top contenders for the Democrats in 2020 are Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Cory Booker (D-NJ), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY).
