Man accused of molesting a child in 2004 is accused of trying to hire a $7,000 HITMAN to 'take out' the alleged victim, who is now an adult

A Missouri man who is accused of molesting a child 15 years ago has now been taken into custody for allegedly trying to hire a hitman to have that complainant, who is now an adult, killed.
John Mark Wilson, 55, has been charged in federal court with solicitation of murder.
Officials said he paid a $2,000 deposit and promised $5,000 more to an undercover agent to have his alleged victim 'taken out,' according to court filings obtained by DailyMail.com.
Wilson was charged with two counts of statutory sodomy in Pettis County Circuit Court last year, in connection with allegedly assaulting a child victim in 2004.
Officials said they were tipped off on January 11 that Wilson, who is from the city of Sedalia, was trying to hire someone to commit a murder.

After receiving the information, a meeting was arranged between Wilson and the tipster by investigators with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Following that meeting where the tipster said he knew a person in Ohio who could do what Wilson was asking, an undercover ATF agent posing as a hit man met with Wilson at his home on January 16.
At that meeting, Wilson allegedly told the uncover agent, 'I’m looking at maybe life in prison,' seemingly referencing his outstanding child molestation charges. He then mentioned a woman, saying it was her son who had made allegations against him.
'She’s extorted five thousand dollars out of me already. Yeah, she showed up a year ago at my front door. She’s just a f**kin’ b***h, man, this, this chick is hard,' officials said Wilson told them.
'And she showed up wanting money from me and when I wouldn’t give it to her she came back and said if you won’t give me money I’m going to tell them you molested my son.'
According to the document, Wilson said he paid the woman $5,000 and then ran into her one year later, when she demanded more money.
'When I turned her down the next time she had me f**kin’ arrested,' Wilson allegedly said.

At that point, the underover officer asked, 'So what cha you want done?' and Wilson is said to have responded, 'I’m afraid, I’m want her kid taken out, because he’s the one who’s putting a complaint against me.' 'You want him dead? the agent asked, and Wilson is said to have replied, 'Yeah. I don’t know what else to do. I don’t have any other choice. My lawyer’s not give me a whole lotta hope with all this shit, this me too crap that’s going on'

At that time, the agent and Wilson agreed on a $2,000 down payment and a later payment of $5,000 after the murder was complete, the document said.
Then, at a follow-up meeting on January 22, Wilson is said to have given the agent, who he thought was his hired hit man, a picture of the alleged victim and the $2,000 deposit. Wilson is also said to have bought the shotgun shells the supposed 'hit man' was to use in the killing.
Wilson left after the exchange, and he was followed by investigators, who eventually pulled him over and arrested him in Pettis County.
Wilson exercised his right to remain silent and asked for an attorney the document stated.
He remains in custody at this time, with a detention hearing and preliminary hearing scheduled in the case on January 28 in US District Court for the Western District of Missouri, in Jefferson City.
