WATCH: SNL Offers Leaden Tribute To 'Women Of Congress': Two Anti-Semites, One Raging Socialist, And Pelosi

Over the weekend, "Saturday Night Live," that leftist contribution to leaden comedy, dredged up a stale supposed comedy routine based on an hommage to the TV show “Charlie’s Angels.” This time, it was titled “The Women Of Congress," and paid tribute to the women of Congress, including newly-elected anti-Semites Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, raging socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and everyone’s favorite candidate for The Woman Whose Face is 60 Years Younger Than She Is, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Unsurprisingly, none of the women in the sketch were Republicans despite the fact that three new senators in the 116th Congress are Republican women: Marsha Blackburn, the first female senator from Tennessee, Cindy Hyde-Smith, the first woman elected to either the House or the Senate from Mississippi, and Martha McSally from Arizona.
In its inimitably heavy-handed way, the sketch began with the voiceover intoning: “Once upon a time there were women, and then they became fed-up women, and then they became Congresswomen. They fight crime; they right wrongs; they wear white but they’re not all white. And we love that. They’re: The Women Of Congress!”
Then, a brief introduction to the team: The voiceover began with a reference to Pelosi clapping in President Trump’s face during the SOTU, intoning, “Featuring: Madame Nancy ‘ClapBack’ Pelosi.” “Pelosi” brags, “I’m so woke, I can’t close my eyes.”
Next, the Raging Socialist. Voiceover: Alexandria “I Say What I Meme” Ocasio-Cortez. “Ocasio-Cortez” boasts, “You’re trying to rip apart my Green New Deal? Leave me alone. I will dog-walk you.”
Voiceover: Maxine “Don’t Go Chasing’” Waters. “Waters” gloats, “They call me Auntie Maxine, but I’m gonna make Trump say ‘Uncle’.”
Voiceover: Kyrsten “Kooky Arizona Lady” Sinema. Sinema huffs, “I used to be in the House, but now I’m in the Senate. I’m bicameral, bi-partisan, and bi. Deal with it.”
The, the first of two anti-Semites. Voiceover: Ilhan ‘Get the Hi-Job Done” Omar. “Omar” swaggers, “I’m a proud Muslim woman and proud American. When Ted Cruz sees me, he crosses the street.” (Author’s note: Perhaps he doesn’t like associating with open anti-Semites.)
Voiceover: Annie “Raise the Roof” Kuster: “Raise the roof and break the glass ceiling.”
Voiceover: Abigail “Say My Name, Say My Name” Spanberger. “Spanberger” exults, “My opponent thought he could hurt me by saying a vote for me was a vote for Nancy Pelosi.” Pelosi sidles alongside, mocking, “How did that work out? Good.”
The second of the two anti-Semites. Voiceover: “And Rashida “Impeach the Mother f****er”” Tlaib. “Tlaib” trumpets, “Impeach the Mother f****er. B****.”
The voiceover repeats, “The Women of Congress.”
The skit begins with all of the women sitting around in Pelosi’s office, as she informs them, “Ladies, we have a message from President Trump.” She hits the button on her answering machine. Trump’s voice intones, “Congratulations, women of Congress, You know, since I’ve been president, we have more women serving in Congress than ever before.”
Kuster sputters, “You don’t get to take credit for that!” Tlaib shouts, “That’s not because of you!” The other women start screaming. Tlaib picks up something and smashes the answering machine to smithereens, followed by Waters bellowing, “And you’re not rich.”
Voiceover, triumphantly: “The Women of Congress.”
Subtle.
