Quick-thinking parents chase and pin down a registered sex offender after he 'grabbed the arm of a three-year-old boy then ran off with a four-year-old' at a California playground

Quick-thinking parents were able to stop a registered sex offender from kidnapping two small children in California on Monday.
Marcus Dewitt, 29, was allegedly hanging around Rosetta Canyon Sports Park in Lake Elsinore around 11.30am on Monday when he allegedly tried to grab the arm of a three-year-old boy as he was partially inside a play structure.
When his efforts were unsuccessful he allegedly picked up a four-year-old boy and tried to flee the park with the child, according to police.
But the children's parents caught Dewitt in the act, chased him down and wrestled the child from his grasp.
One relative of the child was seen trying to overpower Dewitt to get the child.
Then other witnesses and family members joined in and held Dewitt down and called police, cops said.
Video footage of the shocking arrest shows Dewitt on the ground on his stomach waiting until police arrived to arrest him.  Video taken from the incident shows Dewitt laying on his stomach at the park until police arrived to arrest him

'The victim’s parents and other family members saw the abduction, were able to catch DeWitt and wrestle the boy away from him,' the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said in a statement to the Press-Enterprise.
None of the children were hurt in the incident.
Dewitt is booked on kidnapping charges and held in lieu of $1million bail.
He's scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, according to KTLA.
