Ex-Tlaib Helper, Now Lawmaker Connected to Rabid Anti-Semites and Terrorist Org

Recently, we reported on Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s reprehensible anti-Holocaust remarks on a Yahoo-hosted podcast that sent shockwaves through the Jewish community. Instead of condemning or punishing her, fellow Democrats scrambled to back her up, proving that antisemitism is an acceptable practice within the party.
As it turns out, a former volunteer to Rep. Tlaib and current Virginia lawmaker shares a similar outlook on the Jewish community.
Ibraheem Samirah, a Democratic state lawmaker, was found to be a part of what Washington Free Beacon calls “multiple virulently anti-Semitic and anti-Israel organizations.”
He is a known supporter of the “Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions” movement — a group who spends their time finding ways to use economic and political pressure against Israel. Not surprisingly, he was also a speaker at a Hamas-affiliated convention.
Even worse, NRCC points out that his father, Dr. Sabri Ibrahim Samirah, is a fundraiser for Hamas. It sure sounds as if he’s a chip off the old block.
The list of Samirah’s connections to pro-Palestine and anti-Israel initiatives and groups is long. If this doesn’t raise questions about the company Rep. Tlaib keeps, I don’t know what does.
To put this in perspective, imagine a Republican lawmaker was known to have former staff or volunteers connected to a member of the Ku Klux Klan. Now, imagine that same Republican making racist remarks about slavery on a radio show or podcast.
You know what would happen? Pure political chaos and so much pressure from the mainstream media, Democrats and Republicans that he or she would be walked off the Washington, D.C. plank, within a matter of hours.
I don’t think anyone could honestly deny that likely outcome.
But with Democrats, it’s different. If one of their own makes antisemitic remarks, which has happened multiple times in just the past year, it’s standard party protocol to not only defend their actions but also blame President Donald Trump (or other Republicans) for it.
That’s literally what happened after Rep. Tlaib made her remark that the Holocaust gave her a “calming feeling.”
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi immediately defended her and blamed Republicans. Oh, and she rewarded Tlaib by letting her preside over the House.
How, exactly, does that make any sense whatsoever?
It’s becoming a lot easier to understand why liberals are quick to accuse their conservative counterparts of racism and bigotry: Because in reality, Democrats are trying to distract from the growing number of racists they’re electing in their own party.
The fact that Rep. Tlaib still has a job in U.S. Congress after making controversial remarks — plus the revelation that some of her inner-circle are connected to pro-Hamas groups — is mind-boggling, to say the least.
When she’s up for re-election in 2020 for Michigan’s 13th District, here’s hoping that voters wake up and realize exactly who this woman is and what she stands for.
