Pelosi Reverses Course, Will Pass Senate GOP Border Bill. Ocasio-Cortez Explodes.

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) exploded on Thursday after Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that House Democrats would pass Senate Republicans' border bill.
Pelosi's announcement comes after she had indicated on Wednesday that House Democrats would not pass the bill because they intended to add their own list of demands of things they wanted in the bill.
The bill, which passed 84-8 on Wednesday, approved $4.6 billion to help address issues that desperately need to be fixed on the southern border as immigration officials continue to see a record number of illegal aliens entering the United States.
"At the end of the day, we have to make sure that the resources needed to protect the children are available," Pelosi said. "In order to get resources to the children fastest, we will reluctantly pass the Senate bill."
Ocasio-Cortez, who had repeatedly claimed last week that the Trump administration was killing kids in "concentration camps," was furious that Pelosi passed the bill to help the children.
"Under no circumstances should the House vote for a McConnell-only bill w/ no negotiation with Democrats," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. "Hell no. That’s an abdication of power we should refuse to accept. They will keep hurting kids if we do."
"0 negotiation with the House. We offered crucial amendments to protect children and families - none are even being considered. A minority is different than a majority," Ocasio-Cortez continued. "And while the Senate has to deal with its lack of power there, a House majority should have a seat @ the table."
"We have time. We can stay in town," Ocasio-Cortez added. "We can at LEAST add some amendments to this Senate bill. But to pass it completely unamended with no House input? That seems a bridge too far."
