The New York Democrat has called for the abolition of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency and has likened the detention facilities for migrants to Nazi concentration camps.
AOC has willingly spread the lie the migrants in custody are forced to drink water out of toilets.
But when Republican members of Congress entered into the facilities this week, their videos, photos and testimonials told a very different story.
In a video posted to Twitter, Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona told a story from just outside an ICE location.
“We visited the cafeteria, and the dietician who is on staff at the nearby military base is also the dietician on staff right here at this facility,” Biggs said. “In fact, they share the same menu. …
“Those who are disparaging ICE and ICE detention facilities, those who are disparaging [Customs and Border Protection] and their operation facilities, they’re doing it knowing they are misleading the American public.”
Biggs said he was “impressed by the efficiency and transparency by which these agents discharge their duties and uphold the rule of American law. We appreciate the efforts and sacrifices of these brave men and women.”

In another video from a Border Patrol station in El Paso, Texas, Biggs said of CPB that “these men and women have done an incredible work through this massive surge.”
He called claims from Democrats that Border Patrol agents have murdered and tortured migrants to be “an absolute fabrication said for political purposes.”

In a tweet where he called out the Democrats for “falsehoods,” Rep. Jody Hice of Georgia said the lies from “the other side of the aisle are just shameful.”
While touring ICE facilities, Hice took a short video where he said the abundance of materials made the building “like a miniature Walmart.”
In the video, Hice pointed behind him to diapers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotions, socks, clothing and soap. “We have row after row after row of food, air-conditioning, places for cots they sleep on,” he said.
“The lies never cease with what we are being told by the Democrats,” Hice concluded.
The falsehoods from @HouseDemocrats that migrants don’t have access to basic supplies like toothpaste and soap are flat out wrong. Today, I stood in a warehouse full of these items.

“You have people for political reasons who want to continue to tell a lie and demonize these men and women of Border Patrol who are doing everything they possibly can,” Biggs said.
Those same people, he said, also “prevent us from being able to enforce our laws.”
