Shocking dashcam video shows the moment a 'bank robber', 43, is killed during a wild Texas police chase that tops 130mph

Texas authorities have released dashcam footage of the moment an alleged bank robber crashed and died during a high-speed police chase that reached 130mph.
Lufkin Police officials identified the suspect as LeEdward Hopkins, 43, of Houston.
According to police, Hopkins and another man identified as 42-year-old Tony Mitchell, of Houston, robbed First State Bank of Louise at gunpoint around 11.30am on Thursday. 
Authorities said Mitchell, who is still on the run, and Hopkins fled the bank at 505 E. Boling Highway in Wharton with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Dashcam footage shows officers in pursuit of Hopkins who was reportedly driving a black Dodge Challenger near the intersection of Old Moffett Road around 7.10pm Thursday night. 
An officer attempted a traffic stop but Hopkins refused to pull over. 
'Stop the vehicle,' a police officer tells the driver at one point over an announcement system.
In the video, the driver is seen maneuvering around the patrol car and speeding off.  
Hopkins continued onto US 59 north toward Nacogdoches as multiple agencies, joined the pursuit that saw Hopkins reach speeds of 130mph. 
As Hopkins neared Nacogdoches city limits, he lost control of the vehicle after one of his tires was spiked near Woodland Hills Golf Course.

In the video, the car's engine catches fire, but it broke away from the car.
'Hopkins apparently died on impact and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nacogdoches County Justice of the Peace,' police said in a statement.
Horrifying images taken by Lufkin police show the mangled Dodge Challenger following the crash. 
An undisclosed amount of cash was recovered from the vehicle, along with a loaded pistol and additional magazines. 
Mitchell was not with Hopkins at the time of the crash and remains at large. 
Lufkin Police shared Mitchell's mugshot. In a wanted poster, police describe Mitchell as being 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds.
