How Awful. Vocal #NeverTrumper Ben Shapiro and Others Were Meeting with Zuckerberg for Private Dinners — While Facebook Pillaged ALL Prominent Pro-Trump Websites

In 2016 Ben Shapiro’s ‘Daily Wire’ were just a blip on the map.

Like Glenn Beck and others Ben Shapiro lost his mind campaigning against Candidate Trump in 2016.  Ben was one of the most vocal #NeverTrumpers.

Ben even joined Michelle Fields in spreading the nasty fake news report that Fields was assaulted by Corey Lewandowski after a Trump speech in Florida.

 

Ben Shapiro still rips President Trump on a regular basis.

But for some odd reason Ben’s website “The Daily Wire” has seen its traffic take off thanks to Facebook these past three years since the 2016 election.

At the same time EVERY major pro-Trump website has seen its Facebook traffic erased since 2016. Many pro-Trump sites even went out of business after Facebook altered its algorithms to target and eliminate pro-Trump voices.

Now we know why.
Ben Shapiro and other “conservatives” have been meeting with Mark Zuckerberg — presumably to bring attention to Facebook’s attack on conservative speech.  But, more importantly, to grow his own website.

While these principled ‘conservatives’ dined with Zuckerberg Facebook has been systematically eliminating pro-Trump voices on its platform since the 2016 election.

Facebook is currently purging conservative content from their platform.

Free Speech is being eliminated in America.  This is  a fact.

In February of 2018 Facebook launched a new algorithm to ensure that conservative news would not spread on their social media platform.

The algorithm change caused President Donald Trump’s engagement on Facebook posts to plummet a whopping 45%.

In contrast, Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) did not appear to have suffered a comparable decline in Facebook engagement.

Top Pro-Trump Facebook pages with daily traffic in the millions have seen 75% to 95% drop in traffic since the 2016 election.

Young Cons, Western Journalism, SarahPalin.com, Chicks on the Right, Independent Journal Review, Right Wing News, The Gateway Pundit, Infowars (banned completely), Breitbart, Pamela Geller, Laura Loomer (banned), 100% Fed Up, The Drudge Report and several others have seen dramatic loss in traffic and influence.

Facebook uses Soros-funded Poynter and other left-wing groups  to fact-check on their platform — The same group that recently listed EVERY prominent conservative publisher  as fake news.

In March 2017 Columbia Journalism Review published a study of the 2016 election that found conservatives had abandoned the liberal mainstream media in 2016 and went online and to social media to get their news.

Harvard University published a similar study months later.

After this study was published Facebook went to work and started censoring conservative content through a series of algorithm changes.

By Summer 2018 this is what the Facebook influence map looks like today.

Facebook was on a mission to delete traffic to conservative websites.

Most prominent conservative publishers from the November 2016 election have been hit hard or eliminated.

On Monday Politico reported on Mark Zuckerberg’s private dinners with conservatives.

CNN commentator Mary Katharine Ham, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, AEI fellow and former Washington Free Beacon editor Matt Continetti, Town Hall editor and Fox News contributor Guy Benson, and Media Research Center founder Brent Bozell have also attended the dinners, according to the person familiar with the gatherings.

Ben Shapiro was dining secretly with Mark Zuckerberg. The Daily Wire has seen tremendous growth in Facebook traffic since the 2016 election.

Certainly, Ben is aware of the censorship of the pro-Trump websites.

But it is clear he is only worried about his own website.
