As the suspect runs from the scene, police can be seen sprinting after her.
'Yeah! Yeah! You got it! Run! Run! My sistah out,' the supportive friend can be heard cheering as the girl continues running.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, the NYPD shared that officers from the 40th Precinct had responded to a radio call for an assault that took place at the intersection of East 149th Street and Southern Boulevard.
A witness identified the teenage girl as a suspect and police found her and a second juvenile about a block away at the intersection of Avenue of St John and Southern Boulevard.

Two teenagers were arrested initially, according to police. But the third girl, who they said was not involved with the assault, opened the rear door.
After a brief pursuit, all three teens were detained.
Police charged the first two teens that they detained with assault in the third degree.
The third teen was charged with obstructing governmental administration.
The names of the teens were not released as they are underage.
