Joe Biden takes aim at cancer-stricken Rush Limbaugh during Dem debate — and the crowd erupts

Joe Biden singled out cancer-stricken Rush Limbaugh during Friday's Democratic presidential debate, resulting in a boisterous applause from the audience.

While reacting to news that President Donald Trump had removed Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a key impeachment witness, from the National Security Council, Biden took a shot at Limbaugh to slam the president.
"By the way, Col. Vindman got thrown out of the White House today — walked out. I think ... [Trump] should be pinning a medal on Vindman and not on Rush Limbaugh," Biden said.
"I think we should all stand and give Col. Vindman a show of how much we supported him. Stand up and clap for Vindman. Get up there!" he added. "That's who we are! We are not what Trump is!"
The crowd erupted in response to Biden's comment about Limbaugh, before they joined him in a standing ovation for Vindman.

Unsurprisingly, some Democrats have complained that President Donald Trump awarded Limbaugh the Presidential Medial of Freedom during his State of the Union address last Tuesday.
One such Democrat was Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who, afterward, called Limbaugh a "virulent racist." She said it was "truly nauseating" to see the president honor Limbaugh with the prestigious award.
Limbaugh revealed on his radio show Friday that, despite having stage 4 lung cancer, there is "good news," and his team of doctors have signaled a positive prognosis.
