Nick Sandmann’s Attorneys Announce Plans to Sue Five More Media Outlets Including ABC and CBS

In January CNN agreed to settle a lawsuit with Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann, but the amount of the settlement was concealed from the public.

Sandmann’s lawyers filed an $800 million lawsuit against CNN, WaPo and NBC Universal after the outlets used a selectively edited video to make Nick Sandmann and his fellow Covington friends look like they harassed Nathan Phillips, a Native American who attended the Indigenous Peoples March in DC.
But the liberal media lied in their reporting and Sandmann decided to sue the deceptive outlets.
Sandmann’s lawyer Lin Wood told Fox News last year that “CNN was probably more vicious in its direct attacks on Nicholas than The Washington Post. And CNN goes into millions of individuals’ homes.”
The $250 million lawsuit against the Washington Post is still working its way through the legal system after the WaPo failed to get the case dismissed.

Following the announcement in January Nick Sandmann’s attorney Todd McMurtry tweeted out that the attorneys for Sandmann will will now focus on NBC, the Washington Post and OTHERS TO BE NAMED!

On Friday Sandmann’s attorneys announced their intent to sue five additional media outlets including ABC and CBS.
FOX 19 reported:

Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann intends to file complaints with the intent to sue five additional media outlets following an incident at the March For Life in 2019.
On Feb. 24, Sandmann’s attorneys submitted a status report with the U.S. District Court in Covington which stated that they intend to file complaints against Gannett, ABC, CBS, The New York Times and Rolling Stone before March 9.
“All of the future defendants listed above have published or republished statements made by Nathan Phillips and others that Nicholas blocked or otherwise restricted Phillips’ free movement and would not allow Phillips to retreat at the National Mall on January 18, 2019. Nicholas reserves his right to file complaints in this is Court or any other court against any other potential defendant not listed above, subject to the applicable statute of limitations,” the report reads.
