Pennsylvania mom, 52, is arrested and charged for being her 28-year-old son's 'getaway driver when he held up a store at gunpoint and made off with $3,570'

A Pennsylvania mom has been arrested and charged for being her son's 'getaway driver' when he allegedly held up a store at gunpoint and made off with $3,570.
Lori Ann McHenry, 52, admitted to driving her son Steven James Martin, 28, to and from Sam's Place Lottery & Tobacco in Montoursville in March where he carried out an armed robbery, authorities said.
According to an affidavit, McHenry confessed to cops that she drove Martin to the store, dropping him off and then picking him back up once the alleged robbery was over.

The mother also allegedly admitted she knew her son was planning to hold up the store when she drove him from the home they share to the scene of the crime.

The mother and son duo allegedly carried out the armed heist at the tobacco store just before 10 p.m. on March 18.
Martin is accused of robbing the store at gunpoint before making off with $3,570 cash.
Surveillance footage from inside the store shows a man believed to be Martin wearing a camouflage face mask and black ski goggles and brandishing a handgun while handing over a red drawstring bag to the cashier.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the robbery, PennLive reported at the time.
The net closed in on the duo when staff at a nearby Taco Bell said they recognized Martin in surveillance footage because he wore similar clothing when he worked at the fast food joint, state police said.
Investigators said they later found items allegedly used in the heist during a raid of the mother and son's home on May 6.
