Kanye West has issued a grovelling Twitter apology to Kim Kardashian for airing their 'private matters' as he visited a local emergency room in Wyoming following a fleeting trip to California where he didn't see his wife.
The rapper finally broke his silence over the state of his marriage Saturday afternoon, begging Kim for forgiveness after a week of rambling Twitter posts about their relationship in which he accused her of trying to 'lock me up' and said he wanted to divorce her.
He also revealed at his first presidential rally in South Carolina on Sunday that Kim had considered aborting daughter North.
At around the same time he issued Saturday's apology, West visited Cody Regional Health in Wyoming, as concerns continue to mount over his mental health.
A member of Kanye's entourage later told DailyMail.com the rapper was visiting a friend at the hospital.
The quick trip to the ER room came after he touched back down in Wyoming on a private jet following a three-hour visit to California where he visited an art studio in San Francisco but failed to meet up with his wife.

Kanye has been holed up at his Wyoming ranch for almost a week but returned to California Saturday where he was seen wearing his wedding ring.
The rapper wore leather pants and an orange hooded top for the short trip to see textile artist Tina Frey, who specializes in nature-inspired resin homeware.
Pieces available to buy on her website include a $152 toilet roll box, a $51 toothbrush holder and a $235 ‘arch sculpture’ all made from white resin.
Frey also makes items using brushed brass, with a toilet roll holder in the same material priced at $329, while a soap dispenser costs $276 and a vase $713.
Kanye is currently in the middle of building several biodome homes on his ranch which he hopes will be used as prototypes to create affordable accommodation for homeless people.

The trip is the second time the rapper has been shopping this week, after he was pictured enjoying a spot of retail therapy at a Cody Walmart with Damon Dash on Wednesday.
On that shopping expedition, he snapped up piles of children’s clothes and toys, which were then loaded into a pick-up truck by his entourage after the rapper had headed home.
His grovelling apology to wife Kim topped off what has been a fraught week for the celebrity duo after Kanye hit out at her several times on social media.
'I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter,' the rapper tweeted Saturday afternoon.
'I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.'
He then followed up his apology with a tease for his new album Donda - named after his late mother - which had been due to be released Friday but was postponed.

Kanye later tweeted claims that he was trying to divorce Kim ever since she met rapper Meek Mill at the Waldorf Hotel.
'I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf [sic] for 'prison reform'', Kanye wrote.
He also called mother-in-law Kris 'Kris Jong-Un' and accused the pair of 'white supremacy' in another freewheeling series of tweets.

Concerns have been mounting for the rapper after the almost daily and escalating social media outbursts.
Several friends including Dave Chapelle, Damon Dash and Justin Bieber have flown in to his Wyoming ranch this week to rally around the star.
Bieber paid a visit Friday during a road trip with his wife Hailey Bieber, with Kanye posting an image of the two stars on his social media account.

West on Saturday tweeted 'I will beat Biden off of write ins #2020VISION' soon after tweeting a photo and video from a visit to the San Francisco office of designer Tina Frey.
He then tweeted, and instantly deleted, a clip from Carlson's show on Monday, in which the pundit defended West after the music superstar delivered his rambling, emotional campaign speech Sunday.
Soon after the rally, anonymous sources fed the media tips that West's inner circle was concerned for his mental health, and Kardashian herself later posted on Instagram that West has bipolar disorder, something he has previously stated publicly.
It then became accepted wisdom that West's presidential gambit was the product of a bipolar episode, but Carlson reserved judgement.
'Maybe he is,' Carlson said of the notion that West is suffering a bipolar episode. 'But that doesn't mean he's wrong.'
'Here you have a public figure saying that children are the most important thing in life, in the world. There's nothing more important than children -- and he means it,' Carlson said. 'He's totally right, of course, and he's immediately dismissed as a mental patient.'
Carlson's guest, radio host David Webb, concurred, saying 'Kanye has a right to say whatever he wants, whether you agree with it or not.'
'He said a lot of things, by the way, some of them we wouldn't agree with at all,' Carlson said.
