Busted: Two ABC Town Hall Question-Askers Have Deep Ties To High-Profile Democrat Politicians

It’s troubling enough that former Vice President Joe Biden wasn’t asked about the explosive story about his son’s emails with Ukraine and Chinese companies, or any other issue that could possibly paint the Democratic nominee in a bad light, or that the moderator, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos is a former adviser to high-profile Democrats.

Making matters worse is the revelation today that some of the “town hall” question-askers have notable Democrat resumes that clearly explain why they were picked by the liberal media to take it easy on the frail nominee.

As Fox News reported, one of question-askers was a man by the name of Nathan Osburn, who happens to be a former speechwriter under the administration of Biden’s best buddy, former President Barack Obama. His resume includes a stint at the Small Business Administration and a gig at the Office of Public Affairs at the Commerce Department — both under the Obama/Biden administration.

Osburn is quite the activist, as well. As reported, he was quoted previously this year in a local newspaper for his work in creating the “Philly for Pete group,” which was an effort to boost former Democratic presidential nominee Pete Buttigieg’s chances. He was also referred to as “a former Obama administration speechwriter” in the same article.

To the millions of television viewers tuning in to watch Biden stumble through another event, Osburn’s occupation was simply listed as “communications.” Those other details were probably accidentally left out, right?

Or let’s look at another “random” town hall audience member who was allowed to ask a question by the name of Mieke Haeck, who ABC simply listed as a physical therapist from Pennsylvania.

Haeck happens to be married to a man by the name of Ezra Nanes, who Fox News described as: “a high-profile Democrat in Pennsylvania who in 2018 ran a campaign challenging Republican state Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman. Nanes is currently an at-large member of the Centre County Democratic Committee.”

It shouldn’t be a surprise that ABC packed the audience with friendly faces to work in tandem with a politically friendly moderator in an obvious attempt to limit any negative exposure and to prevent him from fumbling answers to any hard-hitting questions.

NBC did the same thing earlier this month during their soft-hitting “town hall” with Biden. It was revealed not long after the event by the Washington Free Beacon that two of the audience members in that embarrassing event were listed as “undecided” voters when, in reality, they both were part of segments on MSNBC and listed as supporters of Biden.

If you couple that with the recent controversy surrounding C-Span’s Steve Scully, who lied about being hacked on Twitter when he accidentally sent a public message to one of Trump’s top critics instead of a private message, it’s crystal clear to anyone watching this political circus that the liberal mainstream media mob is running a heavy block-and-tackle scheme for Sleepy Joe.

Sadly for them, their efforts will ultimately prove worthless on November 3, when Trump emerges victorious and takes the White House for a second term.
