Trump takes the mic to commentate highly anticipated boxing bout on anniversary of 9/11 terror attacks - but Belfort knocks Holyfield out in first round to cut former president's duties short

Donald Trump took to the microphone to commentate on the the Evander Holyfield V Vitor Belfort bout at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Florida - but his announcing duties were cut short when it ended in a TKO.

The former President arrived at the establishment fresh off a flight from New York City, where he spent the afternoon meeting first responders on the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Trump and his son, Donald Trump Jr., provided commentary during the highly anticipated dust-up between Holyfield and Belfort - which ended with Belfort delivering a brutal upper cut to Holyfield, knocking him out in the first round.

Holyfield stepped into the ring last minute after Oscar De La Hoya was forced out of the bout when he tested positive for COVID-19.

Earlier in the evening, the ex-Commander-in-chief stated: 'It's like elections, it could be rigged!'

He also took time to trash President Joe Biden for his chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, saying: 'We should have never allowed to happen what happened in Afghanistan.'

'It was just a shame, but we're a great country and we're going to make a comeback like nobody's ever seen before,' he stated.

The President was later seen sipping a Diet Coke, despite recently calling for a boycott of the Coca-Cola Company after execs spoke out against GOP voting laws in Georgia.

Earlier in the day, Trump similarly lashed out at Biden over his Afghanistan withdrawal during a surprise visit to an NYPD precinct in Manhattan.

The President spoke with first responders to mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11, describing Biden's actions as 'gross incompetence'.

It appears Trump has a lot of pent-up rage towards the President.

Earlier this week, he told a crew of reporters he would like to face Biden in a boxing ring.

'If you said if I had to box somebody, I think probably my easiest fight would be Joe Biden,' he said during a press conference held over the phone on Thursday.

'Because I think he'd go down very, very quickly. Very, very quickly.'
