“We have deliberately been kept out of negotiations”... French Ambassador Calls Out Biden Admin for Keeping France From Submarine Negotiations

One of our allies just called out Joe Biden and his lackeys for “deliberately” keeping them from negotiations over a submarine contract. This is another black eye on America compliments of the Biden administration. Someone needs to remind the Biden administration that this is not how you treat your allies. This incident and the recent withdrawal from Afghanistan where Biden didn’t bother to call our allies to warn them (see below) are both examples of just how inept this regime has been.

French Ambassador to the U.S. Philippe Etienne discusses the incident that made the French so furious that they called the ambassador back to France from the U.S.

This is the first time a French Ambassador has been called back to France from the U.S.

Ambassador Etienne says below that the first news the French heard about the secret negotiations was via the media. He says he doesn’t know why the French weren’t consulted on this.

According to the White House, the incompetent Joe Biden never bothered to call foreign leaders to discuss his disastrous attempt at an exit from Afghanistan.

In a rare move, the French have released a readout of a call between French President Emmanuel Macron and Joe Biden where he lectured him on the “moral responsibility” France and the United States have to responsibly pull out of Afghanistan during a call with the president on Thursday.

Breitbart News reported on the call between Biden and Macron – “The head of state emphasized our collective moral responsibility toward the Afghan men and women who need our protection and who share our values,” it read. “We cannot abandon them.”

The United States readout of the call did not include similar rhetoric, noting that both leaders “underscored the importance of continued close coordination among allies and democratic partners on Afghanistan” and the importance of “humanitarian assistance and support for refugees.”

Typically, call readouts between foreign leaders err on the side of diplomacy, so for Macron to include the pointed message to Biden demonstrates an intentional effort to separate himself from the American narrative on Afghanistan.

“I have seen no question of our credibility from our allies around the world,” Biden said during his press conference on Friday.

But there has been significant criticism from prominent political voices in Europe.

Armin Laschet, a leader in Germany likely to replace outgoing German Chancellor Angela Merkel, called Biden’s failure “the greatest debacle that NATO has seen since its foundation, and it is an epochal change that we are facing.”

Former British Prime Minister Theresa May also questioned Biden’s actions.

“What does it say about NATO if we are entirely dependent on a unilateral decision taken by the United States?” she said, adding, “Did we feel we just had to follow the United States and hope that on a wing and a prayer it’d be all right on the night?”

Earlier today, 100 Percent Fed Up reported that former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, who sent troops to Afghanistan 20 years ago after 9-11, called Biden’s withdrawal of US troops “imbecilic.”

While Biden fumbles, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is filling the void left by Biden, as he calls on G7 leaders from around the world to do the job Joe Biden and his feckless regime seem to be incapable of doing.

This morning, Prime Minister Johnson tweeted:  I will convene G7 leaders on Tuesday for urgent talks on the situation in Afghanistan. It is vital that the international community works together to ensure safe evacuations, prevent a humanitarian crisis, and support the Afghan people to secure the gains of the last 20 years.
