St. Louis Man Convicted in Former Police Captain David Dorn’s Murder Sentenced to Life in Prison without Parole

Retired St. Louis Police Captain David Dorn was murdered in June 2020 outside of Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry in North St. Louis City.

The killers then broke in the store and looted it as dozens of cars drove by on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.

David Dorn was 77-years-old when he was gunned down by looters.

He lay outside the store bleeding as his death was captured on Facebook Live.

St. Louis Police later arrested and charged 24-year-old Stephan Cannon with first-degree murder for the death of retired Police Captain David Dorn.

Cannon once received a 7-year sentence but didn’t serve a day in prison.

In July a St. Louis jury found Stephan Cannon guilty of first-degree murder charges for the killing of former St. Louis Police Captain David Dorn.

On Wednesday, a judge sentenced convicted murderer Stephen Cannon to live in prison without parole, Fox News reported.

Ann Dorn became a public figure when she discussed her husband’s murder during the 2020 RNC.

Her husband was helping a friend of the night of Black Lives Matter protests and was murdered in the process.
