Hamas Celebrates After Pregnant Woman Critically Injured When Terrorists Open Fire In Israel

On Sunday, seven Israelis were wounded in a drive-by shooting near the town of Ofra, approximately 13 miles north of Jerusalem.
One of the critically wounded is a 21-year-old pregnant female. Following the violent attack, the woman was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital, where doctors successfully delivered her baby, which is currently in a ward for premature infants.
The woman is said to be in critical condition and undergoing surgery. The Times of Israel spoke with a surgeon, Dr. Alon Schwartz, who said that the woman had "lost a lot of blood" as a result of the gunshot wound to her stomach.
According to an IDF spokesperson quoted by Arutz Sheva: "Following the previous report regarding the shooting attack adjacent to the Ofra Junction, shots were fired from a passing Palestinian vehicle towards Israeli civilians who were standing at the bus station. IDF troops who were present nearby responded by firing towards the suspect vehicle, which fled."
Avi Mayer, assistant executive director for the American Jewish Community (AJC), has reported on the incident in a series of tweets:

Shehab, a Hamas-linked news agency, tweeted the following after the attack: "Hamas: We value the blessed firing, which points to the presence of resistance in the occupied West Bank despite the ongoing attempts to eradicate it, and demonstrates the ability of the resistance to hurt the enemy and penetrate its fortifications in its most sensitive security positions."
Mayer noted that "this is the same Hamas that the UN General Assembly couldn't bring itself to condemn just a few days ago."
Speaking with The Daily Wire, Mayer said:
Tonight's horrific attack is just the latest evidence that those intent on murdering and maiming Jews will stop at nothing, including aiming a rifle at a pregnant 21-year-old and pulling the trigger. Hamas' depraved praise of the attack will come as no surprise to anyone familiar with its bloody track record, but the fact that it comes just days after the United Nations' refusal to condemn the group serves only to highlight that profound moral failure.
On Thursday, the United Nations rejected a resolution to condemn Hamas, which was introduced by the United States. The resolution needed a two-thirds supermajority to pass, but only 87 member nations voted in favor, while 58 voted against. There were 32 members that abstained.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley condemned member nations who might vote against the measure, stating in part:
I want to take a personal moment and ask my Arab brothers and sisters – is the hatred that strong? Is the hatred toward Israel so strong that you’ll defend a terrorist organization? One that is directly causing harm to the Palestinian people?
Following the vote, Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon added: "For those member states that rejected this resolution, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Wait [until] you have to deal with terrorism in your own countries. Your silence in the face of evil reveals your true colors. It tells us what side you are on – the side that does not care about the lives of innocent Israelis and innocent Palestinians who have fallen victim to the terrorists of Hamas."
