Ocasio-Cortez Accidentally Endorses Capitalism, Hilarity Ensues
Our favorites socialist superstar, Alexandria “Sandy” Ocasio-Cortez is at it again, providing non-stop political entertainment for the masses.
This time she accidentally endorsed capitalism, without even realizing it.
A billionaire commencement speaker offered to pay off the student loan debt of the entire graduating class.
AOC was, of course, besides herself with excitement at the thought:
Every Morehouse Class of 2019 student is getting their student debt load paid off by their commencement speaker.
This could be the start of what’s known in Econ as a ‘natural experiment.’ Follow these students & compare their life choices w their peers over the next 10-15 years.

Sadly though, Ocasio-Cortez forgot to do one important thing before sending her tweet. She forgot to think.
Oops. She accidentally endorsed capitalism, while thinking she was endorsing socialism.
Hilariously, it went downhill from there for our young socialist superstar:
AOC: "Billionaires are inherently evil and no one should have this much money!"
Also AOC: "Look at this awesome billionaire who voluntarily paid students' loan debt!"

Good for the students but Robert F. Smith didn't make his wealth in a #socialist society. He worked at Goldman Sachs, left and built Vista Equity Partners that is worth over $4 billion and manages an estimated $30 billion. That's called #capitalism.

Of course, only capitalism can create the kind of wealth that creates billionaires, who in turn often become philanthropists. Socialism will NEVER do that.
Charity is willingly given. Socialism is theft and redistribution.
This kind of giving was made possible by capitalism.
