Not so fresh! Shocking moment Walmart shopper gargles mouthwash, spits it back into the bottle then RETURNS it to the shelf

A video showing a Walmart shopper gargling mouthwash before spitting it back into the bottle and returning it to the shelf has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.
In a clip released Wednesday, Bameron Nicole Smith is seen walking into the frame declaring, 'Girl, it has been one musty f**king morning'.
Smith then opens a bottle of the blue stuff, takes a swig of Listerine and dumps the contents back into the container.
The video continues with Smith commenting, 'Mmm, nice and minty and fresh' before waving 'thank you guys' and strutting off down the aisle.

By Friday the clip captioned, 'you bitches with no oral hygiene could take a hint' had received 15.6 million views.
Some viewers suggested it was staged as Smith didn't appear to break a seal on the bottle. It's unclear whether Smith later removed and paid for the item but a later tweet joked later alongside a video running in platform shoes: 'Walmart loss prevention chasing me out like.'
It caused people on forums such as Reddit to complain that the act is a crime and call for Smith's punishment.
A social media user commented: 'Another one for prison. Hope you have fun with your new inmate friends', to which smith replied: 'I LOOKED IN THE CELL NEXT TO ME AND ITS THE ICE CREAM GIRL.'
It appeared to be by the same people behind a craze of licking ice cream before putting it back into the freezer at grocery stores.

A friend of Smith's, a YouTuber named Larz, claimed on Twitter Wednesday: 'I started the trend of opening products without buying them.'
He appeared in a video that showed him grabbing ice cream from a tub with his hands and scooping it directly into his mouth before putting it back on the shelf.
This week a woman was seen on camera participating in the act at a Walmart.

In response, Blue Bell Creameries ice cream released a statement:
'We want to thank our consumers for alerting us to the recent food tampering incident. We take this issue very seriously and are currently working with law enforcement, retail partners and social media platforms. This type of incident will not be tolerated.
'Food safety is a top priority, and we work hard to provide a safe product and maintain the highest level of confidence from our consumers.
'During production, our half gallons are flipped upside down and sent to a hardening room where the ice cream freezes to the lid creating a natural seal. The lids are frozen tightly to the carton. Any attempt at opening the product should be noticeable. We will continue to monitor this situation.'
Smith receive a barrage of hate-filled comments including many that were transphobic and some that took a political stance and blamed liberals.
Walmart told DailyMail.com they were looking into the mouthwash incident.
'We are investigating this incident,' a spokesperson said on Friday. 'If someone tampers with a product and leaves it on the shelf, we will work with law enforcement to identify and prosecute those found responsible to the fullest extent of the law.'
