This video explains the dilemma of being both non-binary and a lesbian at the same time

We normally wouldn’t be doing a post on this video, but it’s been popping up in our timeline for days now, and it really is something to behold — it’s no wonder that it’s gone viral — it’s got 1.8 million views and counting.
So suppose you’re non-binary: you don’t see yourself as necessarily masculine or feminine and exist outside the gender binary of men and women. The thing is, you’re attracted to women. Does that make you a lesbian? These people seem to think so, and they’ve put together a video to explain just how difficult it is to explain being a lesbian when you don’t consider yourself a woman.
It sounds … complicated.
The inefficacy of existing linguistic tools to explain just what they’re talking about.
They are a linguistic tool to define something that already exists. Redefining something which already exists? And I am just (using language) that I have available to me to describe something which exists. Hmmm? Rationalizing in terms which obfuscate something. Lying to yourself?
I get the sense that they have never struggled, they have never faced true adversity. In the lack of a real struggle they create a mental struggle, they imagine a struggle that they have to face.

That’s my theory anyway.
There are so many versions of insecure people adopting identities from words they hear on the internet.
They only interviewed people who are actually female for this, which shows that they understand that lesbianism is women loving women. Are they saying that men can't become non-binary lesbians?
So many times, they come so close to clarity.

“They’re just labels, they don’t mean anything.” Yes, you are correct.

“I don’t know how to label myself.” Maybe DON’T label yourself? Maybe staking out some genderqueer identity doesn’t actually change who you are as an individual?
WTF! They seem so confused. Either you like men or women. The liberal labels are making this difficult for these ladies .

Ladies? That’s hate speech … but we’ll allow it for education purposes.
This is pure propaganda. It is trying to set a norm on something that doesn't exist.

What surprises me is they believe other people must have the correct opinion of their weird gender and sex feelings and experiences, and this really matters to our society. And if we don’t have the right opinion of their sex life, then our society is broken.

It seems to me that these people are having trouble being accepted in their own circles, which is sort of ironic, since they claim their problem is with people who don't agree with all these stupid names.

It used to be that coming out as a lesbian was difficult; now the problem is coming out as non-binary to lesbians.
Wait... so a lesbian is attracted to women. This "non binary" person wants to date her, but has a problem with the fact that she's more attracted to women? Isn't that why you're dating her? Because you feel the same way? I'm so confused...

FUNNY: contorted gobbledygook looking for expression.

NOT Funny: they mean it, and will politi-force it as fast as they get back into power.

Just be a damn human. Stop obsessing with these labels. It’s beyond parody at this point. Nobody cares what you identify as or what you do in the real world
