Artist combines reality and cartoons for the child in all of us (40 Photos)

As a kid growing up with movies like Mary Poppins, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Space Jam my dumb child-brain thought, one-day, I would also get to hang out with my favorite cartoon characters.
Then I grew up, and I realized everything was a lie and I lost my dinosaur.

In a final attempt to satisfy my childhood self, I stumbled across Instagram artist Luigi Kemo Volo who combines cartoon characters with reality.
And, dammit! My dumb child-brain was right. It would be fucking awesome to hang out with cartoon characters.

Luigi Kemo Volo is a graphic designer and illustrator from Bacoli, Naples in Italy.

He’s best known for his photo montages where he magically inserts characters into real life as if they were real people.

Kemo says he is inspired by the joy the artwork brings to his young nephew.
