'One night with Jason Statham and I'd die happy!' Britain's oldest identical twins Doris and Lil, 95, leave GMB viewers 'howling' as they claim 'plenty of sex' is the secret to a long life
Britain's oldest identical twins Doris Hobday and Lil Cox, 95, sent fans wild during an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.
The duo had hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid in peals of laughter as they chatted about how they are finding lockdown, joked that the secret to longlife is 'plenty of sex' and also admitted to a crush on Jason Statham.
Speaking from lockdown in the West Midlands, the twins left fans delighted as they also ruled out a romance with NHS hero Captain Tom, 100, while admitting they are loving life at their daughter's home after she took them out of their care home.
As they made their remote appearance on the show, it was revealed that Lil was a big fan of Piers and as soon as they came on, Piers said : ’Why are you not my fan Doris?’
She then replied: '‘I still like you Piers!’. In response to how they are finding lockdown, he said: 'It’s alright, bit boring at times! [We're] not missing a lot!’
The duo then announced that lots of sex was the secret to long life, while Lil said of Jason Statham: 'One night with him and I’ll die happy!'
Musing over a more age-appropriate romance, Piers asked how they would feel about romancing Captain Tom - the army major, who found huge fame by raising money for the NHS by walking around his garden.

After Piers said: 'Captain Tom might be single, what do you think of him?' Lil joked: ‘I want bloody thrilling not killing!’

Lilian Cox and Doris Hobday, 95, from Tipton, became social media sensations after joining Facebook last year and amassed over 20,000 viewers.
Fans of the pair quickly took to Twitter to praise the duo, with one hailing them 'hilarious' while another suggested they should have their own TV show.
