Kanye West Donates $2 Million To Families Of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor

Music icon Kanye West has donated $2 million to the families of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd.
According to TMZ, West also set up a “529 college savings fund to fully cover tuition for Floyd’s 6-year-old daughter, Gianna.” He also donated to cover the legal costs for the Arbery and Taylor families. Beyond that, Kanye West will also be donating money to black-owned businesses crippled by the riots.
“Along with that, a rep confirms Kanye’s donating to several black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago and nationwide that have been in crisis and impacted by the unrest in the U.S,” reported the outlet.
Breonna Taylor, an emergency medical worker, died this past March when police busted into her Louisville, Kentucky, home on a “no-knock warrant,” breaking down her door with a battering ram with no warning that they were police. She died in an exchange of gunfire between her boyfriend and police. No drugs were found in the home.
Despite sitting out in 2016, Kanye West said he will be “definitely voting” come November 2020, and though he did not specifically say for whom, the rapper/entrepreneur hinted that he will pull the lever for President Trump.In an extensive interview with GQ, which was published in April, West reiterated his stance that he will not be told which white person to vote for based on the color of his skin.
