Wendy's employee who called 911 on Rayshard Brooks told the dispatcher 'he didn't have any weapons, said he looked drunk and wanted him to pull out of the drive-thru to get some sleep' (7 Pics)

A frustrated Wendy's employee who called police on Rayshard Brooks says he appeared intoxicated in his car and was unarmed moments before the black man died in a cop-related shooting in Atlanta, according to a 911 call just before the slaying.
Brooks, 27, was gunned down Friday around 10.30pm in the parking lot of a Wendy's off University Avenue after failing a sobriety test, wrestling with officers, stealing a taser and running away.
Surveillance and body cam video along with footage taken by witnesses caught the moment of the police-related slaying which got the officer who allegedly shot Brooks fired and another cop placed on leave.
The newly released 911 recording of the call just prior to the slaying reveals how an unnamed female restaurant worker couldn't get Brooks to move his car out of the fast-food restaurant's drive-thru.

'I think he’s intoxicated. He’s in the middle of my drive-thru,' the worker tells a 911 operator.  'I tried to wake him up. But he’s parked in the middle of the drive-thru. So I don’t know what’s wrong with him.'
'Is he breathing m’am?' the operator asks.
'Yeah he woke up, looked at me. I was like you gotta move out of the drive-thru because people can’t, they’re going around him,' the worker explains.
The operator asks 'what kind of car, but gets no immediate answer from the worker who repeats that other motorists were trying to go around his vehicle and that she had asked him to to pull over.
The recording reveals that the worker was convinced Brooks had too much to drink and that she wanted him to pull over and get some sleep.
After she's asked again about they type of car, the woman says that it was a white colored vehicle. The operator then asks what color Brooks was.

'Is he black? Is he black, white or hispanic?' the operator is heard asking on the recording. The employee responds that Brooks is black.
The operator then asks if Brooks appears armed?
'Does he appear to have any weapons, from where you can see it?
'No, no. I think he’s intoxicated,' the employee says.
Outrage about what happened to Brooks sparked protests in Atlanta. The fast-food outlet where his slaying took place was also torched late on Saturday.

The unrest comes as protests over the police-related death of another black man, George Floyd, continued around the country.
Floyd, a 46-year-old black father-of-two, who was killed during an arrest in Minneapolis on Memorial day after he was alleged to have passed a counterfeit $20 bill to buy cigarettes.
Former cop Derek Chauvin is seen on video taken by a bystander pressing down on Floyd's neck with his knee for almost 9 minutes, causing his death.
Autopsy results released on Sunday night show Brooks' cause of death as gunshot wounds to the back and declared his manner of death a homicide. The autopsy reveals Brooks was shot twice and died from organ damage and blood loss.
The officer who allegedly pulled the trigger, Garrett Rolfe, 27, has been fired and could face murder charges. A second officer involved in the incident, Devin Bronsan, has been placed on leave and also could face charges.

Bodycam footage reviewed by DailyMail.com revealed how Brosnan came close to letting the incident slide as he can be heard asking himself, ‘Do I want to deal with this dude right now?’ before reluctantly getting out of his patrol car.
Brosnan had just witnessed Brooks ploughing over the curb of a parking space into which he asked him to pull into. He had already had to wake him twice having found Brooks asleep at the wheel of his car in the drive-thru lane.
Bodycam footage of the first minutes of the call-out showed Brosnan trying to wake Brooks before asking him to pull into a parking space to allow traffic to flow.
Brosnan returned to his car and waited only for Brooks to fall asleep once more. He later told Officer Rolfe that he could immediately smell the alcohol on Brooks’s breath.

Brosnan watched as Brooks then overshot the parking space into which he pulled. The officer got back into his patrol car and asked himself, ‘Do I want to deal with this dude right now?’
After one minute he walked over to Brook’s car, looked in the window and saw that he was asleep once more.
The officer got back into his patrol car and hesitated for a full two minutes before sighing and deciding that he had to check on Brooks once more.
He returned to Brooks and asked, ‘Hey man, are you good? Because you were passed out before. I just want to check you’re okay. Why did you fall asleep?’
Brooks responded semi-coherently, ‘I was doing about fifty.’

Which prompted Brosnan to ask, ‘How much have you had to drink tonight?’
Across the rest of the stop – which lasted approximately twenty minutes and during which Officer Rolfe arrived at around 10.56 – Brooks made a variety of conflicting statement regarding his alcohol consumption.
Asked repeatedly he said by turns that he had had one margharita, one and a half margheritas, no margheritas, a daiquiri and no daiquiri.
He was unable to state where he was, initially believing himself to be in Forestpark, Clayton County some nine miles away and claimed to have not been driving at all despite the fact that he had been found alone in the car, behind the wheel.
Though muddled he remained polite throughout questioning and compliant during both a field sobriety test and preliminary breathalyzer.
But when Rolfe began to cuff him having stated, ‘I think you’ve had too much to drink,’ the footage showed Brooks suddenly struggle and scuffle ensued during which an officer can be heard shouting, ‘Hands off the f***ing taser. He’s got the taser!’
Surveillance footage taken from the Wendy’s drive-thru showed Brooks attempting to run with Rolfe in pursuit. Brooks appeared to turn and shoot the taser at which point Rolfe can be seen dropping his own, unholstering his gun and firing.
