First Lady of fashion! Melania looks sensational in $6,200 red leather Alexander McQueen coat and $875 zebra print Manolo Blahnik heels as she joins Donald at Georgia rally

Melania Trump looked sensational in a red leather Alexander McQueen coat as she joined the President at a campaign rally in Georgia last night.

The First Lady, 50, cut a stylish figure in the $6,200 double-breasted belted coat from the British brand as she attended her husband's first campaign event since losing the election to president-elect Joe Biden on Saturday.

The former model wore the sharply tailored coat, which featured on the Parisian runway in Autumn last year, as a dress, with a black long sleeved crew neck top layered underneath the garment.

She teamed the high-fashion ensemble with a pair of $875 zebra pony skin stilettos, piped with red leather, by Spanish designer Manolo Blahnik.

During her time as First Lady, Melania has often wowed with her fashion choices.

The former model has donned a slew of high-end labels, from Gucci to Dolce & Gabbana, always pulling out the style stops in order to ensure she makes a sartorial statement on every occasion.

And this outing was no different, with Melania making every effort to ramp up the glamour.

The mother-of-one wore her light brunette locks in a loose wavy style around her shoulders, and opted for her signature smokey eye look, swiping on lashing of mascara, before finishing things up with a sweep of bronzer across her cheeks.

Meanwhile her statement coat was skilfully crafted in the label's atelier and was made in Italy from supple red leather.

It features padded shoulders and box pleats, accentuating the former model's figure.

Neither Melania or Donald donned face coverings to the event. The couple and their son Barron contracted coronavirus in October.

Melania's stylist Herve Pierre previously revealed that the first lady doesn't borrow her outfits from designers and splashes out thousands of dollars on each piece — even when she only intends to wear it publicly one time.

Speaking to the New York Times in September of 2017, Pierre said he actually shops for Melania's clothes.

'I go to Bergdorf, I go to Saks, Michael Kors, Dior,' he told the newspaper. 'What is challenging is when I cannot say what it is for.'

At last night's event, Melania beamed as she stood alongside her husband on stage at the rally, waving to attendees and the President's supporters.

The president repeated claims of Democrat election fraud as he spoke to the estimated crowd of 10,000 mostly maskless supporters in Valdosta.

Introducing her husband, Melania urged support for Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue.

She said: 'President Trump continues to fight for you every single day. Do not let your voices be silenced. We must keep our seats in the Senate.

'It is more important than ever that you exercise your right as an American citizen and vote. Let your voices be heard, Georgia. Get out and vote for Senator Loeffler and Senator Perdue.'

Touting her husband's achievements in office during the pandemic she went on: 'President Trump has brought jobs back to the American people and opportunities for women have expanded in our workforce.

'Our economy has soared and unemployment has shrunk.

'When a global pandemic hit the United States in January, my husband put the American people first, and now under his administration and because of our amazing medical capabilities and resources, we are closer than ever to a vaccine that will save billions of lives.'
