Governor Roy Cooper Declares State of Emergency Over Gas Shortage in North Carolina #BidenGasLines

It took only FOUR MONTHS for Joe Biden to ruin the US.

Governor Roy Cooper (D) declared a state of emergency over North Carolina’s gas shortage.

Under the emergency declaration, the state’s price gouging law is in effect and fuel regulations are temporarily suspended.

“The hackers who breached Colonial Pipeline’s systems have made it harder for hardworking North Carolinians to go about their lives, but I will not allow businesses to take advantage of this incident to charge excessive prices,” NC Attorney General Josh Stein said. “North Carolina’s price gouging law is in effect – please let my office know if businesses or people might be trying to profit off this situation so we can hold them accountable.”

“Today’s emergency declaration will help North Carolina prepare for any potential motor vehicle fuel supply interruptions across the state and ensure motorists are able to have access to fuel,” Cooper said in his statement on Monday.

Gas shortages and long lines at gas stations in Southeastern states are being reported after hackers shut down the Colonial Pipeline.

The largest US refinery shut two crude units in Port Arthur, Texas this weekend after hackers caused the Colonial Pipeline to shut down.

According to the FBI, the “DarkSide” hacker gang began attacking the pipeline operator on Friday and stole massive amounts of data.

The Biden Admin is sitting back and doing nothing after a cyberattack affected gas distribution for 1/3 of the country.

Now there are long lines and gas shortages being reported in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Gas prices reached a national average of $2.99 a gallon, the highest in six years since Barack Obama.

Nice work, Joe!
