Tuesday marked the one-year anniversary of George Floyd's tragic death, with a number of celebs paying tribute on social media.
Kerry Washington posted two touching tributes, one showing how fans can continue to learn and support the Black community one year after Floyd's death.
She also shared a heartfelt video spanning nine minutes and 29-seconds - the amount of time former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on Floyd's neck for - to honor Floyd and Black people everywhere.

The first image she shared was titled 'How We Honor George Floyd,' which starts with 'Heal,' which encompasses asking for help from family or friends or finding a therapist.
The second part is 'Act,' asking fans to register to vote and take part in Color of Change's week of action and signing petition supporting police reform.
The 'Support' portion asks fans to donate to Yes 4 Minneapolis, 'and help in their fight for justice and change in George Floyd's city.'

'Seeing all the attention around the one year anniversary of #GeorgeFloyd’s murder is so emotional. Yes, because of the loss of George Floyd. But also because it is a painful reminder that for many of you, this issue has mattered for one year,' Washington said in the caption.
'For others of us, Black Lives have never NOT mattered. I pray for a world where we all matter to each other all the time and forever more. Can’t stop, wont stop. Justice is not a fad. If you are new to this, happy one year awakening. Stay in the fight. If you are not new to this, sending love. Today and always,' she concluded.

Washington's video showed the actress wearing a black t-shirt that read 'Phenomenally Black with hot pink yoga pants.
She said in the caption this was, 'a mediation honoring #GeorgeFloyd and his family. Acknowledge the trauma that Black people have been through. And please take time for a moment of self care, and appreciate and be grateful for our breath. Sending you love today & always.'
'So today is the anniversary of George Floyd's passing, and I am gonna walk through a meditation and breathing exercise,' she said in the video.
She wanted fans to remember George Floyd and his legacy, along with 'the legacy of trauma in our communities right now.'
