Female driver caught on camera rear-ending Lamborghini hits back with footage showing the $400K sports car 'sideswiping her FIRST at a red light'

A woman who was captured on CCTV rear-ending a $400,000 Lamborghini with her Audi - before blaming the luxury car's driver - has hit back in the row as new footage appears to show him sideswiping her first.

Matthew Heller, the driver of the Lamborghini, released a video earlier this month of the woman driver yelling at him for hitting her - along with CCTV footage showing her car rear-ending him in Tampa, Florida.

The clip went viral with more than 38 million views as countless commenters criticized the woman's actions.

However clips uploaded by Tiktok user @maddygilsoul1, show events before the collision, with the supercar overtaking the Audi at a traffic light before driving very close to a cyclist crossing the junction.

Maddy claims on TikTok that Heller 'drove into oncoming traffic at a red light because I didn't turn left on yellow' and 'almost hit a person'. She adds: 'Side swiped me while I was at a red light... guess he didn't want to tell the whole story.'

It comes after Heller's initial video showed Maddy accusing Heller, from Tampa, of damaging her car in the angry outburst at a Mobil gas station in the city.

She shouted: 'You did that to the front of my f***ing car... that's my new f***ing car!'

In that footage the Lamborghini driver chuckled at the woman's claims, telling her: 'When you rear-end somebody... that's not how this works', before informing her that he would be calling the police.

But Maddy insisted: 'You hit me in the front of it, remember? When I was at a red light you went in front of me and hit my car' - which the new videos seem to corroborate.

In the original video, Heller shrugs off Maddy's claims, saying: 'Okay, cool', before repeating: 'I'm gonna call the cops.'

The video then saw a man holding Maddy back as she launched into a tirade about white privilege.

While waving her arm up and down, she screamed: 'That's why all you white people get all this f***ing privilege, with this nice a** car... B***h, that's my new f***ing car!'

A woman, believed to be a store clerk from the gas station, then showed Heller CCTV footage of the crash.

It showed Maddy's black car clearly driving straight into the back of the stationary Lamborghini Aventador.

But Maddy's new footage sheds more the run-up to the crash. It shows how moments before, her vehicle was waiting at a traffic signal as a cyclist crossed the junction.

In her video, the Lamborghini can then be seen swerving around her vehicle and narrowly avoiding the biker as it drives off to the Mobil petrol station.

That is where Maddy is then seen rear-ending Heller in the original viral clip.

A picture at the end of Heller's video showed the back bumper of the Lamborghini almost hanging off.

The original video was viewed more than 38 million times on TikTok after being shared on Saturday, October 2 and received more than five million 'likes' and thousands of comments.

The new TikTok video showing the two cars at the traffic lights has been viewed more than 400K times and another clip also shows the supercar with black scratches on its side.

However, Heller told the Mail Online that the scuffs are 'simply some dirt from her tire that rubbed into the matte finish,' acknowledging that the two vehicles must have made contact at the lights.

In a statement on YouTube he admitted honking at the Audi driver at the traffic signals and pulling round it because her car had not moved 'even though the light was green'.

A video shows him overtaking her but the traffic signals are not visible.

He claimed: 'While passing her on the left, she moved forward and turned her vehicle toward mine to keep me from passing her. I thought I got all the way around her and continued making my left turn.

'The next thing that happened was a smack in my rear end.' He denied being close to the cyclist.

The Mail Online has reached out to Maddy for comment.

The incident has divided social media users, with many saying Maddy's new footage does not entirely absolve her of blame, given that she still visibly rear-ended Heller.

Addressing Maddy, one wrote: 'The damage you caused is way more than the damage he caused, you still can't rear end him, that's not how it works.'

Another added: 'Regardless, you don't go and ram the back of him', while another said it was a case of 'two wrongs don't make a right.'

One viewer simply said: 'Both are at fault, he will pay for your car damage and you will have to pay for his.'

Others apologized for 'jumping to conclusions' upon seeing the initial video uploaded by Heller.

One wrote: 'I am so sorry, his video looked so legit… I'm so sorry that happened to you.'

Another said: 'I, like 38 million other people, judged too quickly, and I want to publicly apologize.'

With a 6.5-liter engine, a Lamborghini Aventador can be priced anywhere from around $400,000 to more than $550,000 depending on the year.
