Carolina Wide Receiver Robbie Anderson Ejected From Game By Coach After Screaming Match

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Robbie Anderson was thrown out from a Sunday game against the Los Angeles Rams after engaging in heated arguments with coach Joe Dailey.

Interim head coach Steve Wilks dismissed Anderson after the altercation. Prior to halftime, Anderson was seen getting in Dailey’s face and having a shouting match with him on the Carolina sideline.

In the third quarter of the game, ESPN reported that Anderson and Dailey got into a second exchange that prompted Wilks to step in and eject Anderson from the rest of the game. Anderson finished his day with zero receptions.

Prior to kickoff, Anderson was already on the Panthers’ trade block according to NFL insider Adam Schefter. Anderson has been a subpar player all season. To see somebody — let alone someone in Anderson’s position — be this disrespectful to their coach is unsettling.

It’s hard to imagine any team wanting to trade for Anderson now after watching this meltdown from Sunday. He’s not good enough to want to deal with his drama.

In five games this season, Anderson has caught just 13 passes for a little bit more than 200 yards and one touchdown, according to Pro Football Reference.

Anderson showed the entire National Football League today why he’s not worth trading for.
