Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2 Star Bette Midler Spends Thanksgiving Trashing the Holiday, Calling Pilgrims ‘Undocumented Aliens’

Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2 star Bette Midler spent Thanksgiving trashing the holiday and posting a meme referring to pilgrims as “undocumented aliens from Europe.”

In the meme, a Native American and a pilgrim are holding a turkey, clearly meant to depict the first Thanksgiving.

“Celebrating the day Americans fed undocumented aliens from Europe,” the meme text read.

Another meme posted by the actress said, “feed a man corn, he eats for a day. Teach a man to grow corn; he kills you and steals your land.”

Midler also posted one urging people to bring up politics at their family dinner, noting that it may save you money on Christmas presents.

“During Thanksgiving, the #SoulofNationsFoundation meditates on the concept of kinship with humanity and with self. In doing so, they hope to inspire a deeper understanding of gratitude, extending grace & encouragement to those who feel abandoned, outcasted, and hopeless today,” she wrote in another tweet.

“It’s Thanksgiving, and hard to tamp down the feelings of rage and despair over the mass murders of the last few days. But it’s Thanksgiving; we have to try to find something, to be grateful for, even for 24 hours! Like the Sun, the stars, trees & dogs. Did I leave anything out?” Midler continued.

Midler’s rage was likely explained in another meme, in which she posted bottles of booze labeled as “meal prep.”
