Leading Democrat Eric Swalwell Calls For "Presidential Crimes Commission" to Convene After Trump Leaves Office

A leading Democrat, Rep. Eric Swalwell, has called for President Trump to be basically hounded for the rest of his life after leaving office, via a proposed “Presidential Crimes Commission.”

Even worse have yet, as of this writing, to hear any other leading Democrats come out against this monumentally dumb and extremely dangerous idea.

Rep. Eric Swalwell, California Democrat, called Friday for prosecutors to investigate President Trump’s actions in office after his administration comes to an end.

Mr. Swalwell, who previously sought the Democratic nod to challenge Mr. Trump this November, proposed the idea amid growing concerns about the status of the U.S. Postal Service.

“I don’t say this lightly: when we escape this Trump hell, America needs a Presidential Crimes Commission,” Mr. Swalwell said on Twitter.

“It should be made up of independent prosecutors who look at those who enabled a corrupt president,” Mr. Swalwell added.

To my knowledge, the greatest political scandal in American history is the Obama administration using the FBI and intelligence community to spy on the Trump campaign.

Failing their attempt to rig an election in favor of Hillary Clinton, the FBI under James Comey, then via Robert Mueller, attempted to unseat a legitimately elected President of the United States.

So maybe, just maybe we should convene a “Presidential Crimes Commission” but instead of Trump maybe Obama and Biden are the ones who should be investigated.

Obama and Biden for what they did to President Trump, Michael Flynn and others, and Biden specifically for his son’s corrupt Ukraine and China dealings.

My best guess is Mr. Swalwell would not be too pleased about that turn of events and he and the rest of his slimy bunch of Democrats and media buddies would scream bloody murder.

If Swalwell gets his way then “Presidential Crimes Commissions” will have to be convened after every President from an opposing political party leaves office.

It would be the end of the peaceful transitions of power we Americans have known, but maybe that is exactly what the Democrats want.
